Paper skis

So I was watching a youtube video on signal snowboards channel about them making a paper snowboard

I thought that this could be a turning point for skiing, if you layered the paper like the line afterbangs and used a butt load of resin maybe some carbon fiber stringers (bases and edges of course) you could have a pair of ski that would cost like 100 bucks maybe 175.

I feel like its a cool idea but you would go through so many it wouldn't be practical in the end but i have some ideas to make it work in my eyes

i would make the skis less money because paper is really cheap and they would snap easily , or u could just sell them to gapers so they could have those instead of having rentals, or just make them for just you and your friends to mess around with and just not sell them at all

100 bucks? Hell no, at the end of the video they said they only got 3 runs for $15. If they made them into skis, they would have to create interchangeable bindings, like snowboards, and reinforce them with carbon. I would pay $25 max for paper skis.
