hey guys my dad is in the market for new pants and he wants something that is water proof and durable. he wants the "traditional fit" by that i mean not baggy and not tight. i keep telling him he should get a trew bib, but he thinks they are going to be to baggy. hes been thinking of arty'ex or how ever you spell it. he want a shell or lightly insulated. so anyone with experience with tech pants, he could use some help.

he is about 6' and over 200 (not sure exactly)

and always +k for answers

I'm 30 (so pretty old) and have the trew bibs and love them. they fit pretty classic if you buy them in a normal size and don't sag them. i'm 6'2 and bought them in a large.

Check out Obermeyer gear. I have a pair of their pants and its a plain fit. No bagginess to it. Not sure what model I have. Got it at random gear swap brand new.

haha hes got eg2s too. he tore his acl 2 years ago and got rid of all his ski shit, so this past season I hooked him up with some old gear so he could hit the slopes again.
