Pants above boots.

my little brother did that last year b/c the cuffs of his 7 or 8 year old Sears hand me down snowpants wouldn't fit over his old, bulky, boots. It was kinda funny, he was the most poorly equipped kid at the hill but the best skier in his age group.

no, not racers you jackasses. kids in the park roll their pants abover their boots becaese they think its the next no poles

iv only seen one person (not including total beginers or people who use rental gear every time they go up sorta thing) put there pants above there boots. and he only did that because we went from lunch to the park for one run, and he was lazy as well.

i think its a lame thing to do and is ugly.

I did it for the start of the year because my pants were so damn torn that if i didnt roll them, they would look like gothic pants and go over the front of my boots so i would look like im hovering over the ground.

haha.

i do it when im walkin from/to my car so i dont step all over my pants.

i have done it when it was slushy and i was hikein cause my pants were soaked.

it doesnt bother me, its not for looks.

that is a good point. many sick rollerbladers do the pant tuck.

but sometimes i just forget to role um back down after i've walked from the parking lot to thi hill.

damn it why are we even conversing about this?

tons of racers here in the Midwest do it.

but i havent seen anyone who do's freestyle with it other than in that 4bi9 vid.

i do it jokingly cuz well no one else does it and everybody thinks i'm serious and i get a kick out of it

they advise while taking instructor exams to lift them up cuz it allows the examiner to see rotary movement and flex n ext in the ankles

i think it came from kids having there straps down like racers

why not roll up the pants to so you can unbuckle your boots easyer?

ive done it once. but that was because it was at a rail jam in a parking and i didnt want to ruin the bottoms of my new pants
