Panic! at the Disco

i was going to go in february... but this kid that i know that bought the tickets sold mine to someone else. WTF soooo gay cause now theyre sold out. makes me want to choke a bitch

you guys are too critical. whatever happened to listening to music because you like the way it sounds without completly decompiling the sound of it? Panic! at the disco is enjoyable to listen to, and it's much more upbeat than its predecessor

it wouldnt be too bad if they had a different singer.

the guitarist is an old friend of mine i just found out, played ice hockey with him for a good amount of time and he used to live right down the street.

im sick of not responding to you, so im doing this cumulative.

-"actually they sound like they were made with the same corporate cookie cutter as was fallout boy"

fall out boy started not unlike my band. 2 kids who had been in other bands before were sick of being so hardcore and recruited some more talent to help pursure there idea of starting a pop punk band that they could have fun doing. the members of the band are from the same town and all became fast freinds (if they werent already) shortly after the creation. there wasnt anything corporate about it, it was about having fun and it wasnt infulenced by any ideals involving the possibly successfulness of a pop punk band around 2000.

-"that's strictly opinion. and their lyrics really do blow a big one."

"I started looking out for myself today

but then I stopped cause I don't care

I'm feeling bored of feeling numb

so now I'll stop cause I don't care"

this peticular verse sums up most AFS songs. very depressing. complaining...over and over and over. you cant really knock panic! because at least they create some really original and creative stuff. its borderline insane. AFS just seems to stick to being hurt from girls. and you say superficial to panic!.

in all fairness i do like AFS somewhat, and would say im a fan, but saves the day are just much better.

-"it does suck that people like them"

honestly, this really shows how much of a cool and accepting kid you are. you can keep posting however you want, but whatever respect i had for you is gone with posts like this.

you talk alot of shit on alot of threads. occasionally theres an opinion that just isnt you disagreeing with someone else. never seen you post about skis...

you can respond back to this, i dont care.

im thinking we should all just go skiing, and let Panic! play shows

I hate em, but a lot more people like them so who cares. Im pretty sure not everyone on this site likes the same music.

honestly, I did the whole band thing last year and it isnt all that great, but thats because it wasn't as fun as skiing or playing ice hockey to me.

Either way, I think the 2 sided arguements are great, but I dont believe people should be called out because of what they believe.

"apparently, that's how you figure you know my music taste."

true

"second, if you're going to spend time that could be used for skiing, you might as well do some more research into my posts on midwest forums. i have nothing to contribute to ski talk, i'd rather be at the hill"

if your from the midwest look out your window. i wore sandals today.

you dont give opinions, you just find something you dont like and disagree with it, especialy about music. say you dont like them, thats fine, but find shit people post and add to it stating an extended personal opinion that seems to be trying to push for more of an e-arguement? thats just not cool. let it slide. we all got you didnt like them after page one. and yes, state you think the lyrics suck again incase we missed it.

lyrics for a pop punk band are crappy! omg thanks for letting us know, they usually are mindblowing poetry.

their lyrics, driving power, and synth have effected more people positivly than wilhelm screams had. they are successful because of it. its nice to heard something a little more off beat, as you obviously would agree, and in this case it works for them. its better than anything "You Kiss Their Ass And They Shit On You" (oh a shocker i actually am familiar with the band) has to offer. music is enjoyment. let them have it instead of tearing the band down because you believe your music is superior.

yes, you do believe it is superior. dont deny it. and im letting you have your e-arguement, so you should be thanking me.

god Armor for sleep is a pretty bad band

i never have liked them even though they're on equal vision which is a pretty good record label

ohh god i would have killed to go to that show Fall of Troy, Fear Before, Bear vs. Shark, and Dredg

but it didnt come to denver gayy

yeah mabye, but if you looked at the tour dates, it looked like they went in i a big circle around the west not really

hitting the interior

Fear Before is from Arvada

so that wouldnt make sense i dont know ive seen fear before live and i saw fall of troy live so its not like i was really missing to much. just B v S

OMG MTV that makes me like them like 2009345093705703 times better b/c i like love MTV

"familiar with the band?"

yes

"i have a sneaking suspicion... i could be wrong"

yes

"VERY limited release."

yep still know it

"on a side note, that's an interesting claim that their lyrics have affected more people than wilhelm."

they are mainstream now. many people hear it on the radio and like it now. they get put in a good mood. its what popular music does. dont fight me on this, you're wrong. less people are crusing venus to see wilhelm, because they arent on the radio. hence "more people"

"if Panic! makes you feel good, listen to them."

well it looks like you've come a long way.

sorry for bringing back and old one, but i thought that they were actually disco and downloaded their stuff. I am glad that i illegally down loaded it because they suck and have a misleading name

Yeah, I hate Fall Out Boy. They have become what MTV wanted them to be. Panic at the Disco is the same way. I hate them, I thought they could've been decent but now they're way too mainstream.

not a huge fan, i used to be into all that music but something hit me and i listen to different stuff now

fall out boy, if you would have looked this up, is not following the trend and i can name a number of situations in which they have openly opposed mainstream ideas (eg Kidz Bop copyright infringment, ect.)

thats partly true, but what i think seperates it is the overall musicianship is far better, but thankyou for being the first person ive come in contact with to actually recognize that there is a difference between sounds and actions
