Panda poles

I have looked at these a few times in the last couple months, mostly because I saw that a couple guys on here work there. I am down for supporting the people I "know". The cost for the poles themselves are decent enough but the shipping to Canada is killer. Is it worth another $40 just for shipping? After the exchange rate, I am sure it's getting close to $175ish. That seems a bit much for a set of sticks.

Thoughts from the guys who work there or folks who have used them?

Yo I used to intern for Panda Poles for a few years before I moved down to Tahoe this fall. Great company. The poles are more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for and you are putting money back into the sport, supporting the environment, and the economy. Everything is from the USA and all the materials are recyclable. Very durable poles as well and if they do break, there is a great warranty on them.

I am not sure how the shipping would work out, but I would email TanSnowMan (the owner) and ask him. His email is tansnowman@pandapoles.com

I do know that if your total is more than $300 that the poles ship free internationally. So maybe you have a friend or two that want a pair as well?

Thanks. I will shoot him an email and see. As soon as I made my post I put an ad on kijiji (like craigslist) to see if there would be any interest in some folks going in on an order. Nothing back yet. Most of my friends snowboard or have given up skiing (pffft losers) so they're no help.

Panda Poles also makes some nifty apparel and Panda Cams for the snowboarders. Haha. But yes, emailing him will be best. He should het back to you pretty quickly.

Yeah I have no affiliation with panda poles, so cannot speak on that, but yeah they're pretty much the best poles ever. I used to go through around 3 pairs of poles a season but have had my panda poles for two and they are still going strong. Quality wise, I agree with .lencon, you get what you pay for. Also the panda poles community is fucking rad, the Tan Snowman is the best and literally treats all of his customers like family. Buy them if you can, I give them a 10/10.
