Panasonic video camera help!

i just got a pv-gs83 today and i got a little video but i have no idea how to put it on the computer. it did not come with a usb cord is that what i need?
 
allen is right, also it is best if you know someone who works at best buy to get you one, because the mark up on those is crazy like a 20$ cable is about 3$ for employees
 
hmm...well how is the picture on that puppy then? does it turn out quality? or....???

and any idea if it has a microphone input? hot shoe?

incase you couldn't guess i'm looking to buy a cam as well...though i'm interested in a PV-GS500 which is alot more spendy.
 
alright 500 for sure then...cause i know for a fact the 320 dosen't have a mic input or a hot shoe (which i would like both for a mic...the hot shoe is handy so i can just use the cameras battery to power it)

go to target to get a fire wire. I got one for $13. Its a little cheaper than best buy. It also has both 4 pin and 6 pin interchangeable heads. oh yeah, its also 8 feet long, so i can upload footage from a separate room... which is nice.
 
i know, get one of the HD handycams off of ebay, like steve did

they dont have a much color chips but actually seem to have better color from what i have seen
