Painting Skis

does anyone have any advice on a good profesional way to re-paint my skis. I paint cars part-time but i am jsut trying to get some information. any help is helpful.

when your done spraypainting them, spray a clear enamel over the whole thing to thicken it up, and then take the clear tape stuff you get at ski shops and put that over it so that the paint dosn't chip off
