Painting Skis

I have followed the numerous guides on this site to painting skis and have changed my old skis with a nice design. Now I am wondering, what should I use for the top coat. I had been told polyurethane, but the label on the only can I could find said only for indoor furniture. If any of you have successfully painted your skis, what did you use for the clear top coat?

Wanna come to the pants party?

It was ok, my neck broke my fall.

I didn't use anything and they help up alright for a while, but eventually chipped alooooooooooot.

I think I'll try something to cover it when I finish re painting them.

So please give good advice.

you can use any sort of clearcoat...

...I got some clearcoat when I just began painting helmets at a modeling store. It's used to clearcoat things like model planes...boats...etc.

Just ask the store employees and I'm sure they'll help you out...being as its for planes and boats and what not...it'll hold up for a good while
