is it ture? cause if it is thats some messed up stuff and another thing does it cancel the warranty if u paint them?

 
the warranty i have no idea you should probably just call the company and ask, But illegal?? What are you like ten why would that be illegal, one of the dumbest things ive heard in a while on this site

it might be with some companies, but it shouldn't be at all. b/c painting skiis is a total surface job, you're not doing any damage to the core or actual structure of the ski - so you shouldn't have to forfeit your warranty. but hey, im not totally sure.

the only reason i asked if it was illegal was because i know if u paint video game systems or any thing it is because u have to open them and for some reason they decided that its illegal, dont ask me why or how but thats jsut the way it is and i was just woundering if it carried true to this also i didnt think it was, but dont attack me cause i wasnt sure, and i was woundering the same thing about my post i guess its just messed up

 
Its not at all illegal some companies might not take the ski back for warranty but its not fucken illegal and who the hell paints a video game system. What kinda people do you hang out with. But skis no its not illegal it can just void a warranty if the company is real dickheads.

i know that if you put stickers on your helment then the warranty is vold for sure because there is something on the sticker that will weaken the helment or something

 
hahahha there is no way it's illegal to paint something you OWN. I highly doubt they will warranty them if you paint them. But, if it's a big deal to you, check with the company.

uh painting your videogame system is illegal because they dont want you opening it up and fucking around with and breaking the seal and then painting over the seal to make it look lik eyou didnt open it.

my english teacher told me it was illegal to spit in public... am i just totally oblivious or did a lot of people know this and some kid told me it was illegal to kiss underwater in vermont bu then again he was a weird kid

i didnt read the other posts so this might have been said. but i e-mailed levinthal over at line and he said i could paint my skis w/o invalidating the warrenty. if you have lines then go for it, if not, check it out first.

i would much rather be an acquired taste, than a common flavor

take it from me kids, don't paint your skis... i did and now i am manufacturing burton boards in a dark damp basement somewhere in Norway, originally i was charged with a felony, but it i called up good 'ol jonny Cochren and he's getting on top of things.

i'm not canadian, duhuhuhuh i'm just a little slow.

okay first off... haha what a fucking stupid question. someone here is a bit too paranoid about big brother. but on a side note it actually is illegal to kiss underwater in vermont (without clothes on), i found that one out the hard way.
