Painting Ski Boots

DO NOT SPRAY PAINT THEM OR PAINT THEM! but yea u can dye them just search newschoolers theres a thread about it out their somewhere

Have you acctually read the replies on this? The two people who have posted have said not to paint themit will just get beaten up and come off whereas dying them is alot more permanant and wont look like shit. Here is a thread on how to dye gearhttps://newschoolers.com/ns/forums/readthread/thread_id/396325/page/1/ trust me dying is 100x better. Unless you aren't looking to do a complete colour change then i wih you good luck as unless you have a lot of exprience using spray paint its pretty high risk.

Thanks for all your opinions. +K for all of you.

I asked about the spray paint because theres two sides to the story. One half claims that putting the boots in the boiling water will affect the boot itself because the heat messes up the plastic. Thats why you use the spray paint. But the other side says spray paint messes up the plastic as well. Which is the lesser of the two evils? o_o

Still a little lost.

fairly uncommon knowledge but you can dye plastics in water which isnt boiling. you just have to leave it for longer.

I have spray painted my boots and it was mad easy! A little painter's tape and plastic Krylon spray paint. It does start chip, but after a very long time (years) and only a little bit. I am about to repaint mine six years later and attempt a blue camo pattern. Its going to be fresh!!!!!! Don't listen to those haters there dumb.

Do Not paint them, the Krylon fusion is great on plastic but Not boots, they will chip Soo easy. You'll regret the first time out. Thell chip scratch no matter how much you prep the boot for paint or use Krylon fusion. Trust me
