Painting Ski Boots

Alright, just picked up a shity pair of ski boots for $30. I have nothing to lose here, so I thought I'd give it a shot.

First off, my idea for painting, was to spray-paint one boot green, and one boot orange. After, use a stencil I created ("TP" my initials), using the oppoisite colour, (green on orange, orange on green), and put that design on randomly. Only problem with that it I could only give the stencil one coat if I'm doing it randomly.

Anyways, I have some quiestions

Is this idea even possible?

What type of spray paint should I use?

Has anyone ever tried this before?

Thanks,

already tried this last summer and it failed the spray paint eventually chips ALL off and it looks gay... try looking in to dying your boots

use rit dye if you are gonna dye them i think there was a thread along time ago bout dyen ski boots

did you protect it with a sealer or anything?

what spray paint did you use?

did you sand them down first?

i bet if you sand yours down unlike i did the paint might stay longer and not chip i was just too lazy to sand them down but you should try and see if it work but if i were u i would still try to get your hands on some dye
