I want to paint my black pivot 12s, but I have no clue what paint would work. I dont want all the paint chipping after 1 day of hard riding. help would be appreciated.

Nothing you use will stay on the top without chipping. Hell even the colors that they use on the binding itself chip off after a while.

Frog tape.

Krylon, primer n paint in one, rattle can.

Small piece of tape over din window...

Newspaper and tape to mask off ski from over spray.

Start with very light , tack coat.

Build up with many light layers using different angles to make sure you don't miss any spots .

Let it dry over night, maybe a room with a wood stove/furnace, the heat will help it cure.

They will get scaped up eventually, the rattle should last thru many recoats.

Even outside, you should wear a mask and gloves.

Thanks for the help boss! have you ever done it? if u have how did it look/function

the best "paint" to use would be to have them powder coated. once stripped, the 15/18 pivots are metal, and powder coating is extremely durable. other than that, some high quality spray paint from an art store an 2k clear coat (careful, stuffs super toxic) will be your best bet at having them last. pretty sure the heels are plastic tho, so powder coat won't work.
