i have a pair of pivot 14 forzas and was looking in to painting/plastidipping them another color. And figured i would consult NS and see if anyone had any good advice when it comes to painting pivots. Thanks.

Idk but I’d think like with most things they’d be something you want to lightly sand before painting just to get it to stick. Someone correct me if I’m wrong I don’t want to be the reason his binding doesn’t release

Look at [tag=131911]@Karkoskier[/tag] on insta he painted his pivots baby blue, and they came out wicked

Best/easiest way to do it is to use paint pens. This way you're less likely to get paint in the mechanism and paint the moving parts stuck. Like any painting, carefully creating a key for the paint to stick to, with some light sanding on the bits you want to paint, and applying a couple of coats in thin layers, is the best way to reduce the inveitable chipping.

Yee yee yea man check out the hydro dip fairly easy IMO. They chipped a little but I rode the skis a ton! I feel any way you change the color on the bindings you'll run into that. Just have fun with it and enjoy them while they look fresh. Also can hit me up with any questions.
