Painting helmets

I have an R.E.D skycap and i dont like the color( its kinda beige/ off white) i would like to paint over it. Can this be done, also what kind of would i use?

yeah just make sure your prime it first, and any krylon or rusto would work

how about a giro nine.9 idk cause of all the air vent type things. and i dont wanna fuck up the helmet so would it be cool to paint over one of those?

what did you use to cover up the vents? just like tape?

yah i took the little cover things out of the vents, and taped on the inside of the helmet blocking the paint from coming inside
