anyone here play paintball?

i got an 06 ego w/ a bunch of ups, i'm playing the chi town series in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone is or has gone there before and could fill me in on what to expect
 
eh i use to play a lot then it just died out around here..it was a blast while it lasted tho
 
paintball was the shit when i was younger it was always such a rush, i remember buying new shit for my gun and being totally pumped. but then skiing totally took over 24/7 and i sold my gun to buy some guns - hows that for irony
 
I used to play a lot, but its been a few months since my last time.

I used to have a tippmann 98 custom, but now I've got a spyder electra with a halo b. Some of my friends are pretty intense about speed ball though and own shockers, a dm5, and another has an ego.
 
I used to be sponsored by my local shop, Chi-town will have some good teams there. I don't play anymore, my 2.5 Dragon is up for sale now and I'm sad to see it go. skiing is more fun though, and slightly cheaper.

I play in the woods with some buddies. Much more fun than speedball in my opinion. Haha, we were gonna go out and play in the snow last week when it was warm out, but then we get hit by a huge snowstorm.
 
i have a cocker i got for like 15 bucks and a tank i got for free, so when the weather is better ill definitely be out there BALLIN
 
I have a 04' WGP ProStock with E-Grip i think its called. I haven't played for so long that I can't remember any of the stuff. I wanted to get back into it about a year ago but its so damn expensive and I don't drive and the nearest field is like 60 miles away. Plus no one ever wants to be seriously involved in it. Was fun when I did it though
 
Chi town, nice. Paintballing is so cool, but way to expensive. I used to be sponsored by my local shop, but tournaments were way to much money, I wish I could still play competitively.
