anyone trying to sell a gun quick

im looking for a decent paintball gun not trying to spend way to much probly most ill pay is like 275??
 
Depends what you want but if you should go with the ion. Its the first cheap fully phneumatic marker that isnt a peice of shit. The reason its so cheap is that they use a composite shell around the aluminum body to save money on anno and milling. Dont go with a blow-back they are really not reliable but if you do get a real spyder not some gay clone. If you want a spyder get a imagine, it is pretty much the cheapest on but is basicly the same as any of the more expensive ones. As for a barrel dont get a cheap barell it is better to wait and get a CP one-peice (which insnt the expensive anyway) or a kit.
 
Ive had a timmy,DM4, DM5, Ion and have a proto now , And the ion was deffanatly one of the best guns for the money. Even this division two team I play with has a couple players that use them.

i made one with a few peices of pvc and an air pump. it shoots like 4 at a time but it takes a few mins to charge it up again
 
autococker is a risky gun dude. if its in good shape it is an amazing gun. but its such a complicated gun that you cant really touch anything.

if you get it. dont mess around with it.
 
thats why you buy used. ill let mine go for 650, with the shockteck board (66 bps) and all the ups.

man go with a spyder for imagine and get a nice barrel like a smart parts teardrop barrel or somethin, WGP autocockers are okay too, you can pick those up for like 230$, but spyder would probably be your best bet
 
It really depends what you are looking for but when you are going for a high end it is really about preference. I would recoment playing at least a game of speed ball with a DM6, PM6, Timmy, Shocker, E-Cocker(not the best choice unless you really like it), and/or some older models. Tippys are over rated and if you plan on ever playing speedball I wouldnt recomend it but even just for woodsball a faster marker is better.
 
yea man will you be playing speedball or like outdoor shit? and yes you definately wouldnt want a tippman for speedball there shit, if your doin speedball and dont wanna spend that much money go with a spyder my friend bought a spyder imagine, changed the barrel and put a sweet trigger on (not sure what kind, havent gone with him in a while) and it fuckin owned... i still shot him in the face but he was almost mowing me down for quite a while
 
a lot of people here are recommending really nice guns but arent really considering his price range. it has been mentioned above but ill add another bump for a smart parts ion. it seems great for what you want. its priced at an msrp of $280 USD and will stack up against guns twice its price. im sure you can find a good package deal for a used ion + gear for how much money you have to spend. super solid gun out of the box, comes stock with an anti-chop eye, adjustable trigger, and will lay down around 17 balls per second. definitly enough to hold your own in speedball and still will be a solid gun for woodsball. plus the gun has tons of upgrades out to keep up with the performance youll want when your ready for it. the ion will blow any electro spyder out of the water right out of the box and can be upgraded to shoot like guns in the $1000 range. good luck man and have fun playin.
 
I have a 2k5 SS Autococker, and it absolutely rips. Getting an Empire Reloader, 12" .691 Stiffi, and I have a PMI 68/30 (:/).

Autocockers are great guns, just don't screw with them and your fine.

Anbybody able to invite me to the paintball cult?
 
Any gun from ICD rocks.

The Freestyle is like 700-900 bucks, but it shoots like a flamethrower and is light as fuck.

The Promaster is a lot like the freestyle but waaaay cheeper. Its not as fast and its open bolt, but it never chops and it fires fast as fuck.

the B2K w/PDS is like a heavy version of the promaster. Its fast and never chops, but its open bolt and kinda heavy. Very upgradeable though...

the BKO and the B2K are both very good guns but dont have eyes, so they risk chopping. They are very upgradeable and have tons of boards and stuff. They are heavy though and if they arent at least somewhat upgraded (barrel, aftermarket reg) they are junk.

anything over about 30bps is bullshit because no gun could rip that fast.

It might be able to if there were loaders out there that could even keep up with that and your fingers were stupid fast, but neither exist.

no, but it doesnt need to mean that it can shoot 66 balls per second, but that it checks if the trigger has been pulled 66 times per second, giving you an insainly fast reaction rate.
 
if u want a REAL paint ball gun...i gotta tippman 98 with a 14 inch barrel AND a double trigger...this is no joke...all of it is tru..BAD ASS
 
i used to shoot a viking back in the day when i used to play...if you're looking for a competitive gun the viking was such a reliable gun...while my back man's cocker was failing my viking was consistantly plunking people with facials. I highly suggest an AKA product, I have had great luck with them (they used to sponsor our team so I kind of give sales pitches to anyone interested in them)
 
id go with a tippman. i see to many kids at the field i work at with ion problems. i think i fix 3 everyday. if its a leaky banjo fitting or its shooting like 200 fps or its not working at all.

tippman 98 custom they even shoot under water and after beeing bashed against a tree lol
 
get timmie's timmy. timmys are so sick. i've got a mag myself. i've had like 3 guns. i have like $600 into the gun, $250 on the tank and a shit load more. damn paintball costs alot but i just got us a paint sponsor. soo whoooooooooo!!!!
 
holy fuck 66 bps ahaha man that would be insane if a gun could actually shoot that... the most ive done was 21 bps
 
The Shocktech Bushmaster's board is capped at 66.6 BPS.

Unfortunately there is no way a loader, not even the HALO can keep up with that.

youll be lucky to hit 25 anyway... no matter what settings you give the trigger
 
would be kinda helpfull to know what this kid wants to do, IE. if he goes to turnis and likes to ramp or if he just does a friends place woodsball
