PAINT UR SKIS

id search for this in teh forums there are some good posts on this..there might be an article too but i could be wrong on that but def. search for it

 
ive always used spray paint and then clear coat.

i painted some shitty skis with rust-oleum but they got chewed up good but may be it you put an other coat of something else it will protect it better?

in case you havent noticed salomons 1080 has been the same for about 3 years,lots of twin tips construction stays the same, the only thing they change is the top sheet desighn and thats all your paying for so, if your going to paint them why not just buy older just as good skis and paint them?

I posted this same thread awhile back, but not all retarded sounding and with caps.. I suggest you search the forum for identical posts... we had some good methods for painting the skis in that post

I painted a pair of really old Elans once.

I think I used craft paint or something! And then

I put a sealer kind of coat on them. They got really

scraped up on the hill. I wouldn't recommend craft

paint ('antique country yellow' is just not a cool color) :-)

and mine scraped off pretty fast.
