well yesterday i was skiing caught the lip of the jump started going upside down then slammed my shoulder into the ground and instantly knew i broke my collar bone! then i hiked up to the 20 people watching removed my shirt and it was so gross huge bump and everything docter said it broke in the best place (haha if thats possible) it was right in the middle where it dont grow and it broke like this ^ thankfully and not like the bones over lapped each other, but man this will take forever to heal atleast it is almost the end of the ski season my resort closes March 26th (im in the midwest) but have any of you guys/gals broken your collar bones? its so painful i just ice it down till shes numb and im on tylanol 3 so that helps but yeah wow this blows

It was mandatory that we stoped in a skate shop in Tokyo so Bibby could by a sweatshirt. He also bought neck chains one with a Cadillac logo and the other one a cross. He was looking real ghetto until he saw two black people and removed them automatically because he was scared to get beat up.

my friend broke his wrist last night on an urban rail... he says its not broken, but he is in denial. it was kinda funny. He went clubbing with this makeshit cardboard splint. I also thought it was funny cause for his first ever rail he decided to try a 36 foot down rail. he is to ambitious for his own good.

yea you're right ice feels so good i almost ice it all day haha but yea i was in denial it broke until i ran my hand accross it haha this is the second time i did it last year i did it in baseball took a pitch right to the collar bone dropped instantly then i broke my hand this year in football ugh what a crappy year for me haha

 
damn baseball injuries i broke my leg playing jv baseball when i was a freshmen. i broke that bone right in the front of your knee. i had a cast from my ass to my ankle. it was a bitch.

 
i fractured my collar bone when i was like 4, yeah i fell outta my bed and landed on my shoulder that was pretty cool. i dont remember if it even hurt that much though. but damn yeah that sucks, i'm sorry, good luck and feel better

Dude i hit a tree and broke my collerbone and it was the most painful thing ever. Make sure that you have the docotr check your joints man the one where the collerbone meets your ribcage or something. When I broke mine they didn't check that and the joint is really fucked up now. It hurts and all the time and is super swollen but there aint anythign they can do becuase there are no surgeries in that area that are succesful.

I'm looking to buy a pair of Big Stix 8.0 if anyone knows a site or a store in the NY area that has them please message me.

well when i broke my humerious(the top of my arm) i also put my coller bone out of place, so now it just sticks out of my neck. breaking a coller bone is nothing, compaired to what i've been through

yeah i broke mine this season too. it hurt soo much more than anything i had ever done. it will probably take a while. i broke mine the last week of january and when i went to the doctor last week he said i was out for the season. granted he told me this after i had gone out skiing three or four days, and im still skiing. like skiing wont hurt it, u just CANT fall or ur screwed

I broke my colarbone beginning of febuary last year. It hruts like a bitch but once it is healed it leaves a cool lump that is fun to poke at. I missed skiing on my spring break ski trip because of it. I was better by april though and able to throw down agai nwithout any worries. I hear if you reinjure it durign the healing process it is no good at all. Right now I have a seperated shoulder healing and that is even worse I find, there's not much pain but it is takign so long. And my collarbone isn't realyl attached to my shoulder anymore.

my buddy broke his collarbone and was in denil for about 3 months, when he 1st broke it he was like shit now my mom won't let me snowboard so he just pushed it back into place, dumbass kid when he finally went to the doctors they had to re-break it.

i broke my wrist skiing last season, and then had to ski down to to get it x-rayed, and then this summer i broke my ankle playing soccer and walked around on it for 2 days before going to the doctor, it felt like my leg was being bitten off every time i took a step

i would have to say that my worst ski-related injury was when i was riding my bike to petco to get my lizard some crickets. i was daydreaming (about skiing) and rode off the curb. i slpped off my seat and my nuts landed right on the bar. i thought they were bleeding, but it turned out they were just bruised. i had no idea what to do, so i had to show my mom my black and blue sack.

I did the same thing on a table in whistler this summer, landed on my back with my arms out behind me and broke both of my wrists. Double arm cast steeze
