does any1 else get pain in tehre upper thighs after a long day of skiing? any way 2 get rid of the pain?

they feel tight because after you overwork your muscles they get that way.

you cant stretch them, you have to strengthem them.

squats will help, and anything that works out your legs.

ooh, and climbing hills on a bike.

It doesn't have to be climbing. If you've ever gone downhilling you'd know how much of a workout that is.

is it the top of the thight, the sodes, the back... what?

two of my friends are personal trainers and i will ask them what to do to work out those muscles.

i have a physical problem in my brain where i cant feel half the pain normal people do ha. thats why i get hurt so much and then realize a week later...

but try stretching your legs more, just to get them loose and then after your done too. it helps alot with pulling things and that..

when i bike it helps alot, and hitting the bumps works it out. Now i can ski for like 2 weeks straight with out me dying.

stretch before and after.. especially after. your muscles get a bunch of lactic acid built up in them and you gotta stretch or you'll be a sore mofo

The reason for this is because you are leaning too far backwards when you are skiing.

Have a better stance, parhaps you need to change the position of your bindings. But I think what you need is to ski in a strong position with the center of gravity right above your bindings and not leaning backwards which you most definitely are when your thighs get sore.
