there are some crash shorts on Ebay if anyone is interested (not mine, just letting people know). I just ordered some, I can't wait. My hip is killing me

I could use some pads like these. I just took a pretty hard fall today and bruised up my hip. To the people that use them: Do they get in the way at all or restric movement at all?

 
i dont, but i should. i am on medicine to take the swelling out of my hip (from falling on rails and what not) and now i have to go in to the doc next week to get fluid drained out of my hip. what happend is when i fell a lot the protective sack of liquid around my femur swelled so much that it started making extra fluid, and now that it is healed the extra fluid wont go away. on the plus side of things, im now so scared of falling on my hip on rails that im really good at rails now. for now though im fearing the giant needle that they are going to use to suck liquid out of my hip with. sorry if this all disgusts you.

yea, i definitley wanna get a pair, i just don't know what ones to buy... skeletools look like the best, but i just talked to a Nordica Rep, and he said there are some kevlar ones out there that are better... i've been searching and i can't find em yet

 
another nice pair that i have are the Pro-Tec Hip IPS pads. do a search on google for them.

they're a lighter pad so they won't make your ass look big yet they still absorb a lot of the impact of landing on your hips and tailbone.

you could always do a search for mtn bike pads. my friend wears the Bomber shorts from SixSixOne and he loves them. he says that if they were a woman, he would make her suck his cock. now thats true love.

I'm constantly falling on my tailbone and it hurts a lot afterwards. Sometimes I can't sit down. I'm going to buy some for next year.

 
i got mountain boarding shorts from gritXgear when i fucked my hip up this season. they have a tailbone pad too

I don't wear them but the more i think about pads the better the idea comes. They would be a great idea, i have taken some nasty hits lately

I bought some crash pads for aggressive inline this summer and plan on using them for skiing as well. I think they will come in handy on rails.
