Packing advice

So flying with Emirates on monday with 30kg hold luggage allowance and 7kg hand luggage.

my ski bag alone weighs 13 kg (skis, poles, skins, trekkers, skateboard trucks)

and hold bag is up to 18 kg (boots, outerwear, layers, a few t shirts, helmet)

Hand luggage is way over (laptop, camera, tripod, skate deck) but pretty sure i can get away with it as its fragile equipment.

So unless I want to go naked for 3 months, any tips for packing light?

Whenever I go somewhere skiing by plane I put my boots around my neck and technically it's not a hold bag, you could always try that but that's for Air Tran idk about Emirates but I assume it'll work
