Packers suk

haha i wasn't sreious i was just messing with some kid while at school. i actually like the packers but my team is the cowboys

the packers are sick but i like the cowboys more, they're prob gonna go to the superbowl this year. Too bad the NFC sucks and the pats will destroy whoever makes it to the superbowl, hahahahahaha

thats because mccarthy is the shit, and now it isnt our first year with him as head coach any more

the pack is back. if you don't already know that, your mom probably drank heavily while pregnant with you. therefore, your eyes are probably a little too far apart from eachother, and you may not be all that great at counting past 20.

hahaah

i like how because youre pissed theyre 3-0 you make a thread saying they suck

generally, teams that are 3-0 dont suck

The only team that stands a chance against the Pats is the Colts, otherwise we just trample everyone into the dirt

They did this show on packers.. they had hidden cameras and stuff and the packers like went through all their stuff and some of it was missing at the new house

i am not a fan of the packers. favre is just screwing them over. they are trying to rebuild, but he just wont retire. he was supposed to retire like 3 years ago, but he sucked in his last game, so he didnt want to leave the league with a horrable last game. how can they rebuild with a shitty old quaterback screwing them over every other game.

no, actually in our last game last season, we destroyed the bears 26-7. And if the team doesnt want favre any more, then why are they paying him so much, and how come Rodgers never gets to play? And one more thing, if favre sucks, how come the packers were able to beat the eagles, giants, and chargers with almost no running game?

you're an idiot, the patriots haven't beat anyone yet, they beat the jets, the bills, and a struggling chargers team, their defense is old in some parts, and you'll see them wear down later in the season...there is a reason they haven't been to the superbowl in the last few years, and the new passing game just hides the fact that they have an average run game.

Brett Favre should retire from NFL quarterback. Brett has played in the National Football League since 1991 and he has been playing for the Green Bay Packers since 1992. This means that Favre has been playing played 17 seasons in the NFL. The first team he played on was the Atlanta Falcons, but Atlanta’s coach, Jerry Glanville, did not approve of him and only played him a couple times. Brett’s first pass in a regular season game resulted in an interception returned for a touchdown. Favre only attempted four passes while on the Falcons and completed none of them.

"Let's be honest — Favre is well along the downside of his career. His decision-making and knack for forcing the ball into double or triple coverage has hurt Green Bay." said Adam Schein of Fox Sports. Last season, Favre threw eighteen picks instead of 18 touchdown passes, which is not even close to as bad as the season of 2005, where he threw 29 picks exceeding his career high by four and ranked 31st in the NFL in passing rating. In 1992, Favre threw only 13 picks, three times less than in 2005. In 2005 Green bay had a season record of only four wins and twelve losses.

Brett Favre is on a bad teem building for the future that he will not even be apart of. "It's still a thrill to see him play, just knowing what he represents. But it is also sad to see him now, because he doesn't have the talent around him that allows him to flourish." said Paul Attner. Favre is 37 years old and is risking injury. He has already set many records in the NFL, including, 3 time consecutive MVP, toughest person in America in 2003, most consecutive starts for a quarterback in the NFL. He even lead the Green Bay Packers to win the Super Bowl twice. There is no reason for him to play any longer after setting numerous NFL records and playing longer than most quarterbacks. Attner also said, "None of what we see now hurts his legacy. That's ridiculous. His Hall of Fame credentials are well established, and if he is not a unanimous first-ballot inductee it would be a travesty. But to see great players stay longer than they should feels so wrong."

I do not agree with those who believe that Favre should not retire because of his remarkable playing in the past. The Green Bay Packers are trying to rebuild their franchise again, but its very hard to do that with a 37 year old starting quarterback who know when its time to retire.

your an idiot if you watched any of the post season shows, you would know that half of the people on the show predicted the patriots to make it to the superbowl. and the other half even said that the only reason they picked a different team was because everyone else picked the patriots. and i guess its been a few years since they made it to the superbowl considering they won it only 3 seasons ago and the year before and two years before that.

stop talking immediatley, you are making so many mistakes it is rediculous.

first off, favre's first regular season pass on the packers was deflected, and he caught it himself, and got a gain of yards.

Next, double check your math there in your second paragraph, 13 is not 3 times less than 29. on to the third paragraph.

as for your quote, that whoever said that is right, he doesn't have the talent around him anymore, he doesnt mean that favre is less talented, what the quote is saying is that the packers arent the dream team that they used to be, remember dorsi levins, robert brooks, antonio freeman, billy schroeder (sp), edgar bennett, and william henderson. not to mention our defense with reggie white and gilbert brown.

Another thing, he did not lead the packers to win the superbowl twice, we won once, lost once.

Why should favre retire, we are 3-0, and they were some of our harder games of the season, and the games relied so heavily on his passing due to our lack of running game, so clearly he still has what it takes.

Next know your shit before you talk shit about every cheese head's hero.

first off, i was talking about his first pick ever on the falcons, not on the packers. second i think it was a typo and was supposed to be a 39 not 29(or maybee i thought it was a 39). and third, i wrote that last year, when they were 8-8. im not trying to talk shit about him.he was a great player, i just think its time for him to retire so that the packers can continue rebuilding their team.

you are fucking stupid and have no idea what you are talking about. the packers are a better team with farve THE END...anyone that knows anything about football will agree with me..hes like 38 or what ever and still has the best arm in the league... and i like how you say that hes screwing them over...im pretty sure there 3-0 right now...you shouldnt try to talk shit about something when you cant back it up.

dude, i just said that i wrote that last year when they didnt have a winning record. and i know that he is the best they can have at this point because of team chemistry and shit, but if they got a new quaterback before the preseason, the packers might have been better off in the long run.

and another thing i dont know how you can say that it is time for him to be done when hes ranked 6th in tds has a rating of 93.4 and is about to break every fucking record in the game. You just need to stop talking and realize that brett is the fucking man.

there has only been three games this season. and he seems inconsistant. i dont know how the packer swent from a 10-7 record to a 4-12 record to an 8-8 record to a 3-0 record.

^ new coaching and we lost some players..there just finally getting there grove on! thats why their 3-0

how does this work? i was born in 1991 and ill be 16 in november, so how could he have played 17 seasons already

ya i hear you.i know what you mean. i just wrote a paper on him last year to piss off my friend who is a huge packers fan then copied and pasted it onto this thread. i respect you chesseheads. i remember when the patriots sucked and never won a single super bowl, but the packers seem to be heading in the right direction this year any way.

i remember the year the packers beat the patriots in the super bowl and i was like goddam, that farve is good. i even bought a farve jersey when i was like 10.

and this is slightly random, but i totally sat next to aaron rogers at a brewers game this year. and he loves mint chocolate chip ice cream. and beer.
