after a season of riding in my salomon 1080 boots, they're pakced out and loose as fuck. when i bought them, they were tight as fuck. waht can i do other than buy new boots?

If you had been fitted properly you wouldn't be having this problem. New liners might work, but you'll still have poorly fitting boots.

No. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Do not wear thicker socks. Thick socks will kill your boot performance.

i got performa 5's when they cane out like 4 years ago and the got packed out after a season but if you tighten em down their still comfortable, and the preformance is the same

All boots will pack out, and you will need to tighten them. But if they're too big after one season, you need a different (smaller) size.

You can also move the buckles on some boots to get more adjustment so they can tighten down farther...chances are you bought the wrong size boots...you need to make sure you buy one size down that has the smaller shell/thinner liner...pretty much all boot companies use one shell size for like 10 and 10.5...the 10.5's just have a thinner liner which won't pack out...as much...you should have gone with say a 10.5 instead of an 11 ...same shell...different liner size
