I'm headin' up to whistler tomorrow and wanna know where the best turns in the region are! I'll be in washington and northern oregon as well.

Later,

Eric

go to Mt. Baker and Stevens Pass. You won't be disappointed. As for Whistler... I have no idea, yeah I admit it, I'm a park rat.

^word

might be worth it to check out stevens in a couple of days. finally getting new snow. and certainly go to baker

mt baker for sure, its right out of bellingham, WA. the best snow in north america right now i believe.

They used to have a mini-pipe and a couple of small hits on the run below the Quicksilver chair, about midway down on the skiers left.

Wouldn't be missed by anyone if its gone.

when your in Northen Oregon, come to Mt. Hood Meadows and hit up the bowls/Shooting Star runs for sick pow

Im not trying to slay you or anything, but I would say weekday baker is the best it gets. It will absoluteley dump and nobody will be there to ski. If you know where your going, you dont have to cross another persons tracks for the whole morning on a weekday. Sure the snow can be wet, but recently its been really light and cold. The last great thing, the patrollers dont really give a shit. There are ropes but you can duck any rope you want at your own risk. If you get stuck, then they will come get you for atleast $500, but how many ski resorts have some of the best terrain in the country and let you ski there. I will advise you right now though, dont duck any ropes unless your with a local who knows where they're going. Last weekend a guy launched off a 120 foot ice cliff and died, but he had to duck a cliff rope and a extreme hazard rope. Baker is the shit.

Oh yeah, if youre with somebody who knows where they are going, the backountry is endless. The actual ski area is on top of two hills, but there are pleny of hike to backcountry runs that are hella fun. Just dont do it unless you with somebody who knows where they are going.
