Selling my 2008 specialized Dirt Jumper. This baby is in top shape and is incredible. See Below for parts list!

It needs nothing but air in the tires. I just paid to put a brand new axel in the rear hub with 1/4inch bearings, new gusset chain and new crank bearings. Also the fork has a fresh rebuild with brand new seals that alone cost me $180 she is supreme and will take anything you throw at her!

parts list:

Frame: 2008 Specialized P2

Fork: Fox Vanilla R

Wheels: Sun Rhyno Lites

Tires: Kenda K-Rads 26x2.35

Crank: Truvative Hussfelt

Bottom Bracket: RaceFace Isis

Chain: Gusset half-link Slink Chain

Stem: Truvative Hussfelt

Handel Bar: RMB 700mm long mid rise

Grips: Ritchety

Single Speed Kit: DMR SS Cog and spacer kit

Brake: Hayes MX2 with matching lever

There are a few problems with this.

1. that is not a p2 frame from 2008. it could be a p2 chro-mo(heavier) frame from 2008 but the paint scheme does not match any of the p2 chrom-mo frames that i have seen leading me to believe that it was a pre-production frame

2. the fox vanilla fork wan not used on the p series bikes. they used mostly marzocchi dj forks with 100mm travel. the fork that you have on there looks to have more than 100mm of travel which might push the front end up beyond the safe working angles of the bike.

3. the rims that are on the bike are not made to use a disc brake, they are machined and that means that they are made for a rim brake. the rhyno lite rims are not a welded rim

4. the p2 chro-mo came with avid bb5 brakes not the hayes. did you change the hubs when you changed the brakes. Hayes brakes are known for being very tempermental and difficult to bleed do they have a current bleed on them?

5. A brand new 2012 specialixed p2 is selling for $720 now. you are asking quite a lot at $550 for a bike that has little to nothing stock on it and parts that are potentially lower end than the stock parts for the bike.

I am a bicycle mechanic and have seen countless people get a bike that they think is good that ends up being a piece of junk. I'm not trying to kill your sale i just think the buyer has the right to know this information

I know nothing about bikes. I was given it but have no use for it so i'm selling. Good thing is though that i sold it already lol for $550. hehe

Not at all man. You're completely wrong. I let the buyer know exactly what he was buying with all the parts and what was customized to the bike. My friend is a big bike guy and that was his so he told me all the mods he did. The buyer knew exactly what he was doing son. So you can piss off with your rude comments.
