P12 jib vs Axial 120

i found the 120's for a few dollars cheaper, and they match invaders but better than the blue p12...i was wondering what the difference was? thanks.

werd.

lifters raise your boot off the ski a little bit to help with carving, but the extra height is bad for rails and landings. you could probably take them off if you really wanted to.

Some of the p12s have lifters as well. They took the lifters off the jibs because it provides for a more stable landing off jumps and more stability on rails. That is really the only difference. The axial 120 does come with or without lifters. You can take them off. These axials dont have lifters and come with a wide brake for a good deal http://www.proctorjones.com/pjonline/product.asp?s%5Fid=0&dept%5Fid=11450&pf%5Fid=9986&mscssid=LKH1CXPW8V049M7WNA0XPT1GSBUJ9DC7&

you are one giant piece of internet suck -...focus....

I have axials and I haven't noticed anything different except maybe slightly better carving. It's the same thing in the park.

If a riser is making a difference to your skiing, then you most likely can't ski well enough to begin with.

^Not true, Shaun my man, a riser can make a significant difference if you know how to ski, as I'm sure you know... but in this case the risers are so negligible that they just plain won't. There's hardly any lift there, you won't notice. Just don't worry about it, axial 120s are great bindings.

get the rossy fks...they keep you so low to the ski, i think im gonna pick up a pair for my pub ems, not exactly color choice but performance wise, very nice.

"Holy shit, did you see that tweaked out pencil! That was insane, that guy really knows how to rip."

^ i know people who after skiing on bindings with no lifters hate thier lifters"it makes turning too easy". there is a deal on ebay right now, 155 troublemakers w/p12 jibs for like 125

Free Xbox 360, it actually works, from the makers of gratis networks. if your going to sign up anyway do it through me

I skiied my mad trix with no risers for two years, then got my fujatives with risers and there was no difference in sliding rails.

get this years axial 2's, they have a slightly different rear release, like, the brace goes back instead of forward, so your heel can twist out better

thats what i have on my fujatives

^thats a completely diff. binding, not slightly diff. and no, get whatevers cheaper. all look rossi turntable binders are identical. brakes can be bent, risers and screws can be removed/shortened.

and about lifters....

lifters allow you to put more leverage onto the ski, by increasing the distance btween the snow and your boot. however, it also makes them less stable. on twintips, its very noticable, but the effects are not neccesarly good. i skied 4 yrs on non lifted p12s, and last season on lifted ones. i noticed no real diff on rails, but on jumps it was very evident.

wtf????^ dude, stop. no. they are the same fucking binding. the turntable just moves the pivot location of your foot from the back of your boot, outside your leg, to inside your actual leg, shich greatly reduces strain on your knees.
