P-texing edges.....

Um... why is your edge not touching your base bud?

i read on the net that p-texing ur edge to your base is a good thing... like dripping the p-tex along your edge so it touches ur base.... i also used the search abr......

has anyone elso done this.... does it work....is it better for your skis on rails....

no, my edge is intact and fine.......but i read that p-texing ur edge along the base and edge will make railslides smoother or sumthin..

how long do u think the Ptex stays on a edge, 30 second maybe a min. Urban Legend

if u have a space between edge & base, could help but it aint super glue eh

ya if u get a gouge by ur edge ya fill it with ptex, but ptex is just for gouges

it will not stay on your edge...it will just chip right off if you hit a rail or ski for that matter

the only time p-tex will stay on your ski is in a gash. othewise your suppose to scrape the rest off. if you try and have p-tex going over your base or edge it will just make it harder to use your edges and will slow you down.

well dudes i took my old pair of armadas and removed all the edges from them , man they are great for urban rails, especialy the aluminium ones and i think that i will put p-tex where the edges were.

did that last nite and went out and these are the best urban skis ever

so dudes if you got an old pair of skis doing nothing , just remove the edges from them and get yourself the best ones for rails...
