Lately ive been beginning to wax my on skis. I bought some P-tex to fill in some divots i got on my bases and top sheet. I tried melting it with a light, my iron, and it refuses to melt. what am i doing wrong?
 
did you get candles? or did you actually somehow get a sheet of base material? there are specific candles (that aren't all that great) for use at home that light after being held under a lighter for ~30 seconds.
 
hold it in a flame till it catches fire, then keep it burning and hold over the base damage and it will begin to drip. and this should be in the sticky at the top of the page
