its more in body position than the height of the tip. the further back you are, the higher the rooster.

not as high as the PE's though i have skied on like 5 or 6 different twins and skied with more than that and they are definetly the highest and most spray

i'm on old 1260s

the trick is to point your skis slightly outwards, like duck feet. not enough to make the skis go out, just enough to dig the edges in and its insane. our shitty NW snow's nice too, cause its like ice pellets and STINGS when you get it.

i bet skis throw up more of a rooster tail because theres more tail behind your boot that can flex and allow snow to come flyin out. on a snowboard you're practically standing on the tail.
