I am trying to decide on new skis for all-mountian riding. I am looking at the K2 P.E. and the Volkl Karma. I would appreciate any comments about these two skis or any other good all mountains.

^^Public Enemies are a lot stiffer than most other skis. Second to the Karmas and 4frnts mainly.

^pe and msp have different flex patterns, and ther stiffness is too close to say which one is stiiffer

tough choice, both amzing skis, if you ski pow at all take the karma, if you have no money buy the PE.

I'd go with the Karma / I've had it on various snow conditions and it eats up everything corn, pow, whatever.

Karmas were rated the best all-around ski by every magazine this year.

^Yes, they would. You don't need the width, really, but it's not like it's a bad thing. Anyways, go for Karmas and have no regrets. PEs are also a good choice, but Karmas are #1.

those are both awesome skis. i ride pe's and i love them, but if i had the cash, i wouldve prolly jumped on some karmas

ive got pes, but after checking the karmas, a definate upside is there is a steel edge under the topsheet to stop huge chuncks from coming out, anyone with pes can show off the large cuts down their topsheets, karmas wont have to worry about em

Karmas all the way. They are sweet. best skis I;ve ever owned or skied for that matter. If you don't like a stiff ski stay away though because karmas are the stiffest twin out there.

karma are so much stiffer and are the best all moutain skis they are wide enough for powder and skiiny enough and agile for trees and groomers they're perfrect i know some one who skis all moutain on them and he has pe for park skis and says the karmas don't even compare to the pe's on groomers they are so much better

'kevin whyed nils pull you out?' 'Cuz i was touchin bitches.' 'No seriously why did he put scott in for you.' 'Scott doesn't touch bitches.'

I was gonna buy them until I found a better deal on some fujatives.

I'm glad I went with a soft ski, as I already have a stiff ski.

Volkl skis are supposed to be sooooo good though.

The Karma is sort of breaking away from the old days of Volkl's crappy twins. Karma's and PE's are both great skis, the only reason to go with Public Enemies over Karma's, would be say, the much lower price. But if you can a.) part with more money, or b.) find a deal on the Karma's, then jop on it. Karma's are top dog here I think. I stick with my PE's though.

the Karmas are not THAT much bigger than the Pe's...they are built better and are MUCH tougher..no chipping and a better base...go with the karmas for that price..put some high end markers on them and get a discount

i was in your same exact position, it was either the pes or the karmas for me. i got the karmas and no regrets at all i love them. deff. go with the karmas, great tipped, fat wiast and all around ski

karmas are volkl, vary well built but stiff, depends on what you like my bro has karmas and i ride them from time to time, and my friend has pes prolly if you can ski it you would likethe karma better but never buy without trying...demo

the new PE has an extra 5mm in the waist giving it almost the same dimensions as the karma, and its cheaper. I was deciding between the two and for the price, i went with the PEs. Ive never skied either one though, so its just a comment.

i just broke my 1080's and i was deciding between the PE's and the Karma...i ended up going with pe's because of money but they are both sick

Thanks guys I demoed the Karmas this weekend and loved them. Now I just need to figure out what bindings to put on them.

Look Pivots or Rossi Axials. They are the same binding and the ONLY binding to get.

You heard it straight from the man kids, get Firefox.

Screw this I'm going skiing

I have a 177 Volkl Karma with Rossi Power 120 bindings if you want. Bindings are mounted to 325 mm boot sole length. I've only skied them 3 days this year and want something else. The ski and binding are $350, and the flat ski is $250. Let me know if you're interested! Paypal only please.

dude u gave the same dilemma i really just have no idea on how to choose

IF UR GONNA GO WITH THE KARMAS GO WITH THE 05'S. YESTERDAY I TOOK OUT THE 06'S AND THE ARE NO WHERE NEAR AS GOOD... THEY DONT HAVE THE METAL SHEET UNDER THE TOPSHEET SO THEY ARENT AS STIFF

AND WITH SHARP EDGES ITS FUCKING SCARY GOIN SWITCH CAUSE THEY FISH AROUND.WOBBLEWOBBLE.
