I´ve seeing the sidecut of the Pistols and specially of the Kahuna and I have a doubt. The last one have a 138 mm width tip! This is the biggest I´ve ever seen and I don´t know if this will be a trouble for handling the skis because they touch each other when your legs aren´t spaced enough. Does this affect the stability?

i have pistols and there is no problem whatsoever. even maidens/kahunas wouldn't be that big of a deal, its one more centimeter on each ski.

^unfortunately he may be right. Perhaps you are a glue-booter? work on keeping those skis apart and doing powerful turns rather than keep your feet close together. Yes, you wouldn't do moguls on pistols, but heck, I saw a guy do it fairly successfully in his video (Icouldntgetausername)

Yeah, but some times there´s no possibility of having your legs spaced enough, eg steep slopes or some landings after a jump.

All i got to say is the Pistol is a sweet ski, but putting bindings on those puppies is a real shit

buddy, dont worry about it. Its an extra cm, you shouldn't ski with your legs close enough together for that to matter, and if you do, maybe you should think about how rediculous you must look doing that
