Overshooting vs. Casing

^haha. well Im not sure which is worse. Looka at Tanner's crash and Dumont's crash, both were equally knarly so it depends...

Well, casing definitely hurts the ego a lot, no only are you a tool, it kinda hurts too.

But overshooting is definitely more physically damaging.

overshooting hurts more but is definately cooler, like going down in a blaze of glory...casing is just so damn frustrating

^haha true

yeah overshooting is a lot scaier and hurts so fuckin bad most of the time

casing just makes u look gay

i overshot a 1 by about 10 feet once and my skis didnt pop off and i kinda just slid onto my face and chilled on the ground for a good few minutes cause i lost feeling in my feet... yeah prolly not a good thing

Overshooting is worse since you are falling for much longer. Your falling the entire height from the highest point you were in the air to below the landing. Casing you fall maybe a 3rd of that.

I wouldn't call Tanner's crashing casing though, as I typically associate that with tables.

It totally depends...but I would say overshooting on an average park table. You are going really fast and fall for that much longer so the impact is much larger.

Idk I broke my leg casing, and broke my L5 vertebae overshooting. Overall though overshooting is the worst feeling ever. When you see that landing go flying by, you almost want to cry mommy.

overshooting : hurts a lot, doesnt touch your ego.

casing: youre a damn tool, your dignity is touched, and it hurts...

so casing is worst i believe

overshooting is sooo much worse, unless its a big ass stepdown... overshooting looks way cooler too haha like everyone said

yeah they are both bad... and you kinda look like a fool either way. But on huge jumps casing hurts so bad. Depends on the jump

depending on jump size i would rather overshoot a little than case a little. my friend just broke his ankle casing one of our jumps yesterday.

it varies for sure, i would rather overshoot a backcountry jump, bacause the landing would still be rather soft, depending on haw bad you overshoot. like if the knoll is upsloped ona 60 foot table, and the runout is slightly downsloed, i would probably rather overshoot.

i dunno if you case hard on a big jump switch it sends you flying on to your back and thats like a double whammy so in some intances it suck more to case, i think that id rather overshoot, ive never felt severe pain overshooting whereass caseing hurts pretty bad somtimes

haha idk about you, but I'd rather look like a fag and case than overshoot and not be able to walk for months.

over-shooting is the scariest feeling ever. *cringes* i dont like to think of the sight you see as your 20+ feet above where your gon land.

tanner diddnt really look like a fag when he cased chads. he looked more like a ragdoll. im sure he would have probably overshot
