i think tanner is by far the most overrated skier he sucks in the pipe and has made everyone think good style is gorilla steez i get so pissed when people like cr get tons of attention for 15ft not 20ft 9's Greg tuffelmire is easily the best pipe skier in the world at the wsi in whistler he was doin 1260's 10 feet out he goes just as big as cr and candide but no one notices i think someone should kick dumont tanners and cr's asses i hate simon he is not that good people go bigger then him in the pipe all the time

winterpark, you are a moron. overrated? last I checked tanner, cr, and dumont didnt have gold jackets that said 'amazing' on them. Yeah they are sick, and they do it with consistency. Sure there are other people who can throw switch rodeo 9's, but not with consistency and style all the time. Pros are at the top for a reason. did you see that clip of simon's switch cork 10? that is pretty large if you ask me. Sure he might be a little punk, he is still pretty nasty good.

and lastly, reason pros are pros is because people have seen them, and they are consistent. They didn't just get seen doing a 1440 one day and then never progress.

you want to know why the best are the best, because they can go out any day, any time, any whether, any conditions and kill it. They are the best because they always are. Just cuz GT was doing hucked out 12's at the WSI, doesnt mean shit besides he was having a good day.

if you ever get the privelage of riding with tanner, cr, or simon, or candide, or any of the other highly published athletes, maybe then you will understand how good they really are. And until you can do better, keep your mouth shut.

I dont want to read a reply about how good you are, but if you are ever around, we'll go grab tanner and go for a few runs around the mountain. We wont even touch the park!

ha ha yeah didnt realise it was the same dude. But seriously how r they overated, they get the most exposure because they win the biggest comps and have the biggest contraqcts. You can say oh the 'x games is gay' or whatever, but the fact is its the biggest most high profile comp which most pros want to win. The same with contracts, they have the biggest contracts because they are the best. Tanner and dumont are clealry fuckin good skiers and if u dont want to see them buy a more underground movie. I dont understand where all this hatin of certain skiers comes from. Who gives a shit they r all better than me.

tanner is nasty. the best in the world at what he does hands down. simon is goin to surprise alot of peeple and only get better. tanner is not 18 i think hes 20. dumont is 17 i think... just to clear that up. GT has a unique go for it style that is fun to watch, and he did not just get lucky at wsi. ive seen him rip alot and he had a good year. but if u think tanner and dumont are under rated than u need to ski with them because they are not. I guess u all have ur opinions, personally i think jon is the most creative and stylie. peace

Hey winterparksuks think before you talk and get your shit straight. And saying Dumont is overrated has got to be one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Watch him at the Red Bull Huckfest this year. His corked 540 on the hip was fuckin amazing.

Tanner - i can see you thinking hes overrated

Greg Tufflmire - sucks ass. did you see the other tricks in his WSI run. he sucks.

Dave Crighton - Ugly tricks last year, but look at that switch 1080 mute in the RFA teaser, the quad kink at the end of the forward teaser, and just about anything else he has done this year.

I cant think of anyone overrated other than greg tufflemire. but thats not his fault, thats just people talking shit.

ok.. so far in this thread.. ive heard people say.. Tanner, CR, Raps, Crichton, and Simon are all overrated and suck at various aspects of skiing... i dont believe what im hearing... Lets start from the top.. 1)Tanner.... he is sooo soo soo nasty... sooper consistent, actaully is NASTY at pipe although winterparkpoopdude seems to think he sucks... Tanner is SO good... yur crazy... 2)CR.... also soo good... hes one of the only people who are actually taking new school to the big AK lines and shit... people pretend to do it, but hes really goin at it... He, is also damn good... underrated if you ask me... 3)Raps... he is not as bad as everyone thinks.. i agree, he is maybe the most controversial of the group, but hes out there rippen, and lays down some dirty shit, and keeps up with things so I wouldnt call him overrated, because he's not rated very well... i like him though... 4)... Crichton.. o wow... just wow... how, how how can you say crichton is bad in any way... hes so so so sick... he lays it DOWN in the pipe... soo nasty at rails... so sick... good at jumps, good at everything... he's sooo sick... one of the best, i dont believe someone on here was trashing him.. then 5) theres simon... for being as new to the seen as he is, you gotta give him time... but he still is soo sick... he gettin better and better...
