Overcome fear on jumps

Theyre okay to just straight air though im sure, i also ski on the east coast so i feel the icy landing part, but you could literally just take off and roll the windows down the whole time. Being in the air that long vs what the smaller jumps feel like afterwards will make you much less scared.

DO NOT start on a park jump... try it off side hits and small kickers to gain confidence and then try it on hard packed park jumps, it really makes a difference

Now very scared because I told myself I’ll send more jump tricks next year. Gonna have to go right after it snows so the landings aren’t all scraped away.

update: hit some medium jumps out west, am no longer afraid

haha looks like you definitely aren’t afraid of jumps anymore

Info for beginners reading this thread: if you get comfy and hit/do tricks on jumps enough the fear goes away.

Last year I could only 360 a tiny jump because I was scared to hit anything bigger, this year I can grab my right, left and switch 3s on my parks biggest jump. It’s all about practice. Hiking a jump can help (it’s tiring tho)
