Over abundances of noobs?

Ive noticed lately that their have been enormous emounts of stupid posts and people provoking arguments, such as in the "snowboarders are gay" threads. Now i totally understand that we need younger people to carry on where we finish and all that old man shit, but i think that their are so many immature people in these forums that it makes it hard to communicate. Again, i totally agree with begginers and that not everbody is a pro, but if you dont understand somthing about a sport you are new too, search it. Dont riddle our forums with stupid questions.

For all of you idiots saying its ironic, he has been on here since 2004 and has MORE posts than you. Either you're too lazy to read or too stupid to do simple math. Atleast he didn't write 2 sentances like most people. He actually put thought into his posts unlike most of you.
 
I really wish people would just give it up. All this talk about the search bar, noobs, snowboarders, god damn its gonna make my head spin off. Get the fuck over it. Noobs will be noobs, the search bar isnt always the answer, and snowboarders will ride no matter what we think about them. Stop makign threads trying to critique the parts of NS that will never change.
 
which is exactly why I said "only joking". if you put a little more time into reading the posts instead of being lazy you might have realized such things.
 
well if you are talking about me, my point is that these posts don't even NEED to be made in the first place.

There are certain parts of NS which makes it what it is - noobs, snowboard talk etc..people just need to live with it, instead of discussing it, or making open discussion about it..thats all

 
Just because people dont have 10,000 posts and dont spend evry day of their lives on newschoolers instead of doing somethin productive like getting pussy or ACTUALLY SKIING doesnt make them noobs to the sport. While all you fuckin nerds are trying to get your 1,000,000th post some people are working, progressing, and havin fun with their lives...so quit braggin about how long you motherfuckers been on this website for and go throw a fuckin trick. And if you wanna stop pointless threads, THEN STOP FUCKIN MAKING THEM!
 
You need to chill out. Who said anything about post counts? Also, if you're the kind of person to call someone a nerd you need to take a second look at life. "Nerds", also known as people who are smarter than you, run the world and you will be working for them someday. The comment about doing something productive is also completly uncalled for. You have no idea what kind of life people live. I spend every weekend filming and most of the week doing homework and getting good grades and yet I still find time to hang out with my friends and have a good time with girls, not "getting pussy", thats just disrespectful. By the way, before you start bitching about people not throwing tricks I would like to see you ski. I may not be better than you but I sure as hell have way more fun.

why does the number of posts make someone a newb or not. i've got like 100 posts, but have been a member since 02. i just don't say stuff when i don't need to, except now.

Quit your pathetic attempt to sound intelligent. The irony is that this guy is creating a pointless thread about not creating pointless threads, deush. The whole purpose of this website is to help the NOOB so that the entire sport can progress. It's also a place where NOOBS can gather to talk about something they love, not a fuckin post counting contest. Grow up, be a man, and start thinking about somebody but yourself....maybe then your life would'nt be so sad and humiliating.
 
Its not a pointless thread first of all, it is a valid point and its one of the better "noob" threads I have seen although it is catagorized wrong. I have less of a problem with noobs as I do with people who post one word answers without giving any thought to them at all. I really don't know where your post count hatrid is coming from. No one has said anything about it being a contest except you. That last comment is a very poor attempt at trying to hurt my feelings especially since you have no idea who I am, where I come from or what I do in my spare time.

yeah the integrity of threads in the NS forums has just gone downhill

id say 1 in 6 is worth clicking nowadayz

it just feels different than it did a few years ago
 
Ha! I remember back in 2004 when the exact same thng used to get said compared to 2002! What goes around...

If you really worry about what some of the crap is posted on NS then forget it. Use the site as a resource to find out about and discuss skiing.

To say that many of the posts were not worth reading would be to flirt dangerously with understatement. Filter the crap and NS is an awesome resource.
