Im looking to get a new Virtika Soft Shell jacket for this upcoming season, as the signiture ones are just to expensive. Im kinda worried tho about the warmth that it provides, and that the waterproofing is only 10k. In your guys' experience does it do the job? I ski on the east coast were it gets really cold.

You might have to layer up when it gets cold, especially at night. I used to have one of their older style zip up jackets that was extremely thick and had no waterproofing, and it worked great.

might be worth getting waterproofing spray of Evo for 15 beans and hitting it with some of that to make it really waterproof.

Or just buy a decent jacket with waterproofing?
