I agree that muted colors suck but aside from the g suit these tops are pretty jarring and abysmal, as was pretty much all jiberish and saga that I can remember besides a few select pieces

Don’t get me wrong Saga and jiberish both dropped some fucking timeless heat but I feel like a lot of their older stuff I just wouldn’t wear today

what's important is that the overall design/pattern is actually interesting and takes inspiration from streetwear. as opposed to making you look like a couple of rectangles drawn in MSPaint.

colors on this one are tacky but all saga has come in multiple colorways.

Totally agree. I was having similar thoughts to OP but then realized I just don't care about fits the way I used to. There's also just way more outerwear on the market than there used to be so naturally a lot more mediocrity.

it was the burton coat to match the burton custom form like 2008. I would like to see the style form that era make a come back. I could rock silver snow pants again.

I just bought a barely used goretex pro alpha FL on locals sale for 180$ lol, if u pay msrp for arcteryx you’re not trying hard enough. Shits so high quality that used stuff is still super solid. Expecting to own this jacket for another 10 years

$450 is almost middle of the board, some of the insulated goretex gear out there is like $800+ nowadays.
 
I feel like Dimito and Picture Organic are both coming out with some cool and different designs and Spyder returning to freeski has put out some good stuff. Trew gear deserves a shout too. If you dont like it then find something unique off geartrade or snowshare or something, no one is boxing you into a style but yourself

Saga really started settling into some tasteful designs in the mid teens. Absolutely blows that they’re gone. They left a galaxy-sized hole in the industry that no one has filled.

I loved saga and had a ton, but they definitely had a few trash designs and the quality was pretty questionable. Case in point, the purple three kings jacket is fucking hideous.
