Outerwear designs have turned to complete ass

If I see another earthtone two color block article of clothing I will scream.

Wtf happened to unique prints? How are my buddies supposed to spot me when I’m wearing the same stupid Forest green and khaki combo as every other dumbass on the mountain?

Also why the hell is good stuff like $450+ now? What happened to $300 being top of line?

I going to hop into my time machine and go back to 2011, it sucks here

I'm sure what you want will come back. Look at topsheet graphics, they went minimalistic and now look at next years; wild stuff is coming back!

Because social media happened. Social media gives exposure to the normies and if you want money you gotta appeal to the masses. So eventually everything gets watered down.

There’s millions of non skiers scrolling and loving Montec and Dope. Those companies are killing it.

Just like tv shows, movies, and video games. More generic it is the more people it connects with. Profit.

its interesting to see the simultaneous phasing out of larger ski brands in mainstream kits (unsponsored skiers) and incoming of smaller lines of clothing. I think homies got sick of larger companies doing the same shit every year and stopped buying from them, which allows smaller brands (vulgus, tides, kysenhall) to get their foot in the door a lil it in a room full of people looking for new dope gear.

Those stupid fucking homemade felt hats people on here were rocking. [tag=273397]@WoFlowz[/tag] I'm looking at you.

I for one say we bring back '09-'14 style skittle suits lol

I mean why do I want to be perfectly earth toned out when I fall in a tree well?

I’m not all about dressing like a bag of skittles but getting real worn out on single/two tone greens/blacks/terracotta on EVERYTHING

No. These were sick:

Doesn’t have to be clown puke. Seems like everything now is the same 2-tone shit with zero texture or color variation to break things up visually.

Saga really started settling into some tasteful designs in the mid teens. Absolutely blows that they’re gone. They left a galaxy-sized hole in the industry that no one has filled.

buy used lol. My mom had a blue arc jacket she got onsale for 14 years before it had ripped and the seams delaminated. I‘ve got a homie who rides a late 90s Theta still just re DWRs it once in a while. They have an outlet and proform also. Got my Beta on the outlet and it’s the best investment skiing wise i’ve made besides boots

I mean there’s tons of ways to get discounts. Outdoor pro link. Shit I get 40% of select items and I got the atom lt hoodie. And I love it for how lightweight and warm it is. I think there worth it, and if you buy nice things, they should last for a while anyway

And all snowpants suck. No baggy ones that aren’t sweatpants jogger style other than harlauts which are never in stock

Dude showed the worst era of saga

everything modern is ugly and bland, look at architecture. it's an elitist conspiracy to crush our soles and make us one indistinct mass of consumers.

What a throwback. Had those alps fatigues pants, shutout jacket and enlisted vest. RIP saga

sick man, I got those exact pants and love em. Same with the grape ones. Plus the matching grape jacket and the light/neon jacket.

All quality stuff.

fuck every one of u little Vitika cocksuckers that downvoted this, NTF is better than any of the gear u own

this is why I wear hi vis. But there are many other reasons to rock hi vis:

1. SAFE

2. Cheap and durable

3. timeless. Hi vis will only ever be replaced by something higher vis, which would be sick

4. Can be worn biking or walking at night for safety

5. Masquerade as a construction worker when you set up the street spot

6. Get a job on a construction site and have plenty of work clothes

7. get noticed on the ski hill, people will see you from a mile away

8. people will think you work at the mountain so you can do whatever you want

seriously, all of you guys are overthinking this outerwear thing. Instead of arguing about which era of saga was the least awful, you could just be rocking hi vis and be both safe and steezy.
