Outdoor carpet

so i went to home depot and got some of that indoor/outdoor carpet. i got the strongest green carpet for like 35 bucks, and it looked to be sick. so now iv used it 3 times, and the backing on it has almost completely come off, and it falling apart really fast. i was wondering if this has happened to anyone else, because im not sure if this is supposed to happen when it gets wet. or it could be the soap we used. help?
 
i'v had my carpet for like 2 years, and i bought the cheapest stuff, so idk if your doing something different to it, but what do u mean by backing?
 
ive skied mine a couple times a week since april and its fine, so i dont know man, and what do you mean the backing, like the black stuff on the bottem?
 
and by backing i mean like the white criss crossed stuff on the back that holds the whole thing together.
 
I got the expansive shit at home depot too.....the white stuff is starting to come off but tis not a problem yet..
 
Same question for me, except I haven't done it yet.

What kind of carpet is it? I'm gonna get some but I want the right stuff.
 
i am using turf and on a grass hill you need some briks since its on a hill or else it will crumple up. i prob would rather use a drop in but if u got a hill why not.
