Out for the season, this is why

imaginary +k to the person who embeds, I'm in a hospital bed way drugged up from surgery. Snapped my tibia shortly after a small 15 foot air into ballroom on wednesday. I got out of surgery around 3-4 hours ago, I have a titanium rod and 4 screws in my leg and I can't put weight on it for 8-12 weeks.

Looks like I'm obligated to make a trip to hood this summer!

Yeah, that must have been a really awkward fall. I have the same in my right leg, broke it overshooting. Got some nice titanium rod and screws as well. It feels good now though, do al the rehab man, it's worth it.

If you're trying to insinuate that it's my fault, then you are retarded. I don't understand how this happened either, I along with everybody else who has watched that video has agreed that it was the most fucked freak accident ever.

I'm thinking either it snapped entirely and THEN I fell, or that it fractured, ans broke fully when I went down and my ski twisted. Either way, I'm not thinking that the cliff is what did it, I stomped that shit way clean. I don't know if I put this in the first post, but that was my first run.

it was funny because I basically yelled through all of the pain, but not a tear came from my eye until I realized that my season was over when I saw the xrays. Being told that you can't do the only thing you love to do for at least 4 months is one of the hardest things ever.

If you watch, my leg breaking was the reason I fell. You can hear it snap about a second before I fall. I'm thinking I hit it just right for it to break.

This is exactly my story last year when I tore my ACL. It hurt a shit ton, but after a few minutes I was fine and kinda laughing it off hoping that it was just a tweak. But when I learned that I fully tore my ACL and my season was over, I cried a little.

For what it's worth...my girl snapped her leg training for a marathon last summer. It was very strange and it turned out they think she has some sort of digestive disorder that stops absorption of some vitamins or some shit that strengthen bones. That was totally random and I would have to think there is more to it.

At least that way I won't be freaked out while ripping along! Good luck man...you'll be back at it soon.

Dude i feel ya, i broke my left collarbone in half, and one break went up through my trap muscle got a plate and six screws funny thing is i broke it by landing on my elbow which shot up into my shoulder with enough force to break it then i landed on it which pushed the bone up into my muscle, damn karma got me too man
