Yeah, can somebody tell me whats wrong with my neck? A couple days ago me and a buddy were throwing gainers at the local pool. I overrotated one of them slightly and landed kind of on my back, off the 10 metre tower, and my next like... snapped man. Yesterday, my neck was pretty stiff and sore, but today it's just unbearable when I move it. if I look up, or down, or hold it in a relaxed position, I get crazy pain (like a grinding sharp pain) and it freaking sucks.

didn't feel like whiplash though. I mean, I didn't slap my back real hard or anything. Just felt like I fell off a building onto my back... bruised and maybe out of line, because it sure feels like there's something not right in there.

funny story about hurting your neck:

My friend rang my doorbell once because he was comign to pick me up. He was way early, so I was like hold on 3 seconds im gonna jump in a quick shower. So I did, got out, I had grown my hair long because it was summer and school doesn't let it long, so i was frantically towel-drying my hair. It was long enough so that I couldn't really let it dry on its own. So I was trying real hard to towel-dry my hair really fast...Job done. Five minutes later I had raging pain in my neck and I could not relax it, like you, or turn it to the left or right. I was really pissed, because I was about to go see a movie with a hot girl too. I didn't make the connection between frantically towel drying my hair and my neck until about 6 hours later. It killed, and i mean absolutly killed. Necks are a bitch.

^ I had that a few times in the summer. It is probobly severe muscle pain. If it doesn't get better in a few days, or even tomorrow because it has been a while already, go see a doctor.
