Ordered this video and overall thought it was better than PBP WSKI 106. Granted the althletes in the video are not your most well know pro's but they rip and were throwing down with the best of them. All the tricks done in the video are the same you see in the big name flicks. Great editing. The video is made by 'Off Trail Productions'. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

This video is wack. It is just a bunch of Park City Kids, who are all dope, but the video sucks. The soundtrack is wack and the pros featured in it dont even like it, so I dont know how anyone can say it is better than the more mainstream movies that are out there.

It was a good video. I enjoyed it, but I still prefer to see big pros vesus unknowns. But that is me. I think a pros style is smoother and more controlled than top ams. Like a lot of kids in First Light looked uncomfortable on rails, or stood up wierd. I like a low style, so although it was a good video and showed teh impressive skills of the Park City Kids (Respect the PC) I still prefer to see old T's gorilla steeze.

But buy the video and support the small companies like Off Trail

 
hey powderpow what 'pros' are you talking about? i beg to differ. coker was stoked on it, wilson thought it had some of the best editing he had ever seen, so who had the problem?

I wasnt impressed by it at all. And as for the pros that weren't amped on it, I am not going to name names. i dont want to hurt those guys by naming their names. I did like how Park City Riders were well represented and Travis Perkins segment was sick, but still the video was overall lame and the soundtrack was just plain awful! Get off of Off Trails' dicks!

also, It's impossible to please everyone's music tastes. Juding by the fact that your the only one so far (out of like 30 posts) to have a problem with the soundrack.

That means over 96% liked it.. I'd say offtrail has a successful soundtrack then ey?

yup you got it. all the good posts are my slaves. i pay them to say good things. that is exactly it. actualy there isn't even a movie. it is just a piece of paper that says you have to post good things on newschoolers or i will kill you. that is it.

this year ive seen x, redtape, high five, and first light. either first light or high five were my favorites. ive watched the movie 5 times in the past 2 days. not that many big names, but the editing, filming and skiing were amazing.

soundtrack bad editing sub par skiing pretty good. max peters had the best part other than that wasnt worth the money

^MSP... not quite so sick this year. I'd like to see first light, myself, so that I could back you up on this one. However, I have no money. Such is the way with things.

I was pretty stoked on the movie. I really don't like some of the songs that were used though.. like 'raise your voice'. I loved the intro and I noticed alot of cool editing. But I was kind of hoping for something a little diffrent from First Light, but it's pretty much just like any other movie. If your making a movie.. why use the same formula as everyone else? I liked the part where everyone is sessioning that long rail.. I think there should be more stuff like that. But over all good movie.. I was impressed.

first light is great in my opinion as well, however...the segments in WSKI definately take the cake, they are amazing, i don't like the whole 'radio show' thing though

What is that suppose to mean 'which film company do I work for?' I don't and I dont understand why people on this site back up anything that is independent. It is great that there are new smaller companies coming out of the woodworks, but that doesnt mean that everything they make is amazing. Get real and actually voice an opinion rather than suck dick all the time.

And yes I do support Off Trail as far as rocking one of their stickers on my car, but I just think they could have done a better job.
