Other places like Loveland Pass

I am staying in Boulder, CO for the next week and I was planning on driving to Loveland Pass to backcountry ski there, but it is a pretty far drive so I was wondering does anyone know any other places closer to Boulder that are similar to Loveland where you can ski and hitchhike back to the top.

depending on the storm as we speak, coverage is beat, bring your rock skis. Berthoud Pass is gnar

be safe out there, you start something big right now your most likely going to be dragged over rocks.

I was on the Pass today. coverage is getting better and if you're willing to skin further out there are good lines. be safe!

Thanks guys. Found a place to stay in Summit County. Skied Loveland and Berthoud. Killed it, loved it, stayed safe. Thanks again!!!

coverage is ok but get ready for a hike though snows a bit unstable in my opinion and with the heat stretch recently kinda sketch people still do it though
