Other NS'ers who have to be on a gluten free diet.

Can you drink beer? My mom has celiac, and it was pretty bad for a while. But she has had it for a while, and now she can drink beer with gluten. Are you tolerant to beer?
 
I've been on the diet for about 8 years now for the allergy. If anyone hasn't mentioned it, Whole Foods has some really good bagels produced by Udi's bakery. Pretty much everything from Udi's is delicious, but expensive. Einstein's is working on having gluten-free bagels in a lot if not all of their stores soon. They are doing some testing with the bagels in some Colorado stores from what I know. Every few mornings I stop by an Einstein's in Boulder that has gluten-free bagels and they will toast/cream cheese/ whatever, seperate from their regular bagels.
