I dont think i would go so far as to say a lot of people expected that. I think from what i heard, Brokeback should have dominated (and didnt), Capote was second in line, closely followed by Walk The Line and Goodnight and Goodluck.

thats so true. it wasnt that good of a movie. it was good, but it had so much attention around it. personally, i thought munich was better than crash, but crash was still really good
