Just got an unopened NES, still in the factory packaging, for $50.

Yay for Ebay, and Knobs who know shit about the value of things haha.

The original Metroid owns all of you.
 
I hate playstation, xbox, gamecube, nintendo 64 and all that other useless shit.

I stick to my original nintendo and supernintendo.

I got like a million games.

Super Metriod is one of the sickest games ever!
 
Yeh just got the rare metroid with the yellow label. Got FF 1-2, and both Zeldas with the Gold Carts.

So stoked haha, can't wait to nerd it up on them, just gotta wait for the beater NES to arrive so I can play em, cus I'd be out of my mind to open a sealed NES haha.
 
Yeh couldn't believe it. It was on ebay about to end no bids. Was like no way can't be for real, bid on it and won haha.
 
You kidding me? I know private collectors who'd pay WAY more then that haha. My buddy who heads up his own game design studio paid like $5000 for the original Nintendo Famicom system unopened.
 
Plus I am a collector myself, no way I am gonna sell it haha. I have been working up a collection for some time now. Even got a HAND MADE "Brown Box" or as it was known when it got launched, the Odyssey. The original Game system that started the industry.

Actually met the guy who started the industry Ralph Baer. He is such a legit guy, and PWNED me in pong so badly it was not even funny.

He then asked if I'd like my own odyssey unit and I said you tell me where to get one and I will go get it haha. He then built me one.

I recently bought a snes off ebay and its by far my favourite system. I hate how everyone thinks all these new consoles are so much better and more fun just because they have better graphics.
 
neither does the original PS, or the GC. x-box is a joke, as is x-box 360. Only reason they are so successful is because 12 years olds eat up bullshit games like halo.

Honestly if there is any bigger of a joke for a game please tell me. Halo was the most over rated game ever. And yes I am very bitter that Bungie sold out and ditched every single one of their LOYAL fans for a big check.

Yeh its not the duckhunt one, its the 1.0 one ie the original one that was released within the first few months when it came out.
 
Yeh I don't mean to knock the box, halo is a fun game when you have mad peeps and are just chillin, just can't stand the rave reviews it gets, when its the most flawed shit out there.
 
yeah, i really miss playing my sega genesis, so many good games...sonic and street fighter oh my god, but honestly i think the dreamcast wasn't very good, if i gonna bust out something old school it will be at very least my ps1, the dreamcast just had bad games.
 
I still play my NES never got rid of it or my N64, my friend still have an atari or orginal sega its right old school.
 
lol never played MK for genesis. it was my friends. mostly just sonic and toejam n earl. lol. i was always pissed cause i was always tails and i wanted to be sonic.
 
your saying pong is better then halo or halo 2? You dont think bungie should make those games? Just think where there money is coming from, they don't care about your small group of nerdy friends who want old school shit. The original fan group just wasnt a big enough market.

It's because it was the last game they thought they were going to make due to the horrendous failures of all the games before hand. Yet look what it turned into, the spawn of the RPG genre really.
 
ooh shit I forgot about those too! aah they killed so much time back before I had a social life. those and the Tony Hawk series, and NFL blitz 2000.
