Oregon State University

The university I am attending has got a exchange program with Oregon State University Corvallis.

I am curious if someone here is attending that school or know something about it?

Whats important for me is: Skiing (obviously, How far is Mount Hood and other areas?

Soccer (Do they have a good team?)

Partying (Hot chicks, fat chicks?

Campus

I think there was a thread about it some time ago, but I have searched and couldnt find it.

Pretty Sweet School. Not really that close to Mt. Hood though. Hot chicks......YES! Have you seen the Pac-10 issue of Playboy? OSU Chick was on the cover then she became the playmate of the year. The ocean is only 45 minutes away which is cool for surfing. As far as mountains go you are looking at a 2 hour drive.

im sitting in corvallis right now and the campus is really dope. city itself is boring but you can find shit to do. pretty good yet small ski community here. have collin wright attending along with scott rawley (sp) brian spere ( im butchering your guys last names, sorry) sooo... its fun.

I just graduated from OSU in June and to answer you questions:
Skiing: 2.5 to three hour drive
Soccer: They suck, same with basketball, football is in a transition period and baseball kills it
Partying: OK, there are some hot girls (sororities) and a lot of fat chicks
Campus: A lot of trees. Great in the spring and fall, but winter sucks, it rains A LOT.

if you want skiing and hot girls go to U of Utah, rated #6 hottest campus by maxim (i've heard, and it's hard to not believe it).

or you could go to SOU and hit up ashland. Or go to Portland State and ski Hood if you don't mind living in a city. Portland is a pretty cool city though.

Maybe you shouldnt be suggesting him other schools because he said the exchange program was with OSU and i doubt there will be many other schools. Cant be sure though

Thanks for the good response, I appreciate it. Sounds like a pretty good sweet school though a bit far from Mount Hood.

I think I am going to explore the possibilities to attend U of U since it seems like everybody is totally toked on that school.

Anyway, thanks!
