Orange construction fence on grass

so i have a hill in my backyard, im thinkin of buying a roll of that orange fence shit thats like 4' x 100'. obv there will be leftovers but how does this shit work on grass alone? im not really feeling buying a tarp for underneath if i dont have to
 
there was a thread on this. I'm pretty sure if it's the right kind of fence you can layer it and use some shampoo or soap and water over it and it works pretty well
 
yeah, i used to use use orange fence last summer, i folded it in half and used a double layer on the grass and it worked kinda well

i stepped my game up this year check out my videos and i have a whole new setup and it works waayyyy better
 
If the grass has any length at all you will probably need tarp under it. I have some of that fencing stuff, and it doesn't work at all on grass alone. I just stop completely. With tarp under, it works fine.
 
alright so heres what i did: folded the fence to get a double layer over the spots that needed it most, set it all up on a hill, threw a rail down, and hit it. it works. oh and in one muddy spot i put the carpet from my doghouse jib under the fence as to not dirty my skis lol.
 
I've setup snowfence over: Grass, Carpet, Astroturf. It works best on the Astroturf, then the Carpet, and then Grass. It helps to add a bit of soap, I used laundry detergent *Without Bleach* haha, and tons of water. The carpet and Astro are really good at holding in the water which helps alot.
 
alright well here's the scoop. it works on grass, if you have a good size drop in hill or something, and you have to spray it with water pretty often. i didnt use soap or anything but i would assume that makes it better. due to the lubeyness of it. anyways, the point is that shit works.
 
ehh it works much much better if there is a tarp or something plastic underneath it. plus, if you only use the fencing you're probably gonna damage your lawn alot, if that matters to you.
 
Spend the money on the tarp Set up a sprinkler right next to it lube it with some soap of your choice and whne its hot you can be sessioning while staying cool
