Last Wednesday I had my wisdom teeth removed. They gave me this IV which really did a job... It put me into this ultimate state of unknowing... I think I kinda realized that they were fucking around in my mouth but I didn't care. At first it really hurt cause I didn't have any painkillers leaving the hospital and had to drive 1 1/2 hours home till I could get some. Then a few days later I was eating and felt this wierd snap. I knocked out a clot or something... Thus giving me a exposed nerve. A dry socket. The next days were filled with tremedous pain all the time. I couldn't eat, drink or sleep. My parents realized something was wrong and we went to the dentist and he fixed me up. Man... that was the coup-de-grace on pain. It really really really hurt. Everything was fine for a few hours and I had something to eat but now it seem like it is going to perhaps start hurting again.

Ouch, anyone have anything like this done before? What is gonna happen?

well, the dentists are all plotting against you. each and every one of your teeth will slowly fall out..uhtil no more are in existence within your mouth. and as every tooth falls out, it will leave and exposed nerve, thus you have to go to the dentist to get it fixed...therefore spending thousands of dollars on your now 'toothless' mouth...seems kind of ironic huh?

If I had a nickel,

I'd surely give it to you right away.

I have had oral surgery five times, it sucks at first, but you start to look forward to it.

I have really nice teeth now though!

nooo!!! i have to get my wisdom teeth pulled in like 2 weeks! ive been putting it off forever, but the time has finally come... i am definately not looking forward to it. im sorry to hear about all you bad luck, that sucks. i just hope that i turn out ok.

 
dude being put to sleep rules. when i got my wisdom teeth out they gave me an iv, then a shot, and i was all numb, then gas and i closed my eyes. the lady was like no don't go to sleep yet, i was like shut up bitch this shit is making me cumfy. dry sockets hurt like a mother, i had a cramped mouth muscle after talking too much but not opening my mouth...it lasted about 3 weeks and to open my mouth fast hurt like a shit.

my advise is to get baked before u go to the dentist. i do it everytime before i go.

i crashed on my bike and now my jaw is all out of line and it sucks and its been like this for like a month

 
ya, i got punched in lacrosse and my jaw feels all bent and shit. i cant eat anything on the right side of my mouth

i got my front tooth knocked out by a baseball, took 3 hours to build a new tooth, then i had a root canal on it, but that wasnt to bad, and in a year there gonna remake my tooth so its porclein

 
I still have no energy or appitite to speak of. I am feeling alot better today though. Yesterday I felt like utter shit.

For anyone who has to get your wisdom teeth out this summer, its pretty much fine as long as your on pain killers for the 48 hours after the surgery. Dry Socket is the worst part.
