What size should i go for with the mr pollards opus? I am 182 cm high and weight 62 kg, aiming to ride trees, jump a lot and occasionally battle with big mtn terrain. Please help.

Ps. I am not experienced in powder skiing that much, but have been skiing park and piste for 13 years now. I'm currently riding chronics in 178.

I am also not sure where to mount?

Inb4 repost, searchbarred multiple times.

I'd get some experience off piste a little before investing. The CHronic does float in pow as well, use that until you feel it's worth the investment

I'd get some bacons! I think they'd suit your transition much better. The opus wouldn't be bad either, but I think the bacon might come in some more appropriate sizes

I have been riding pow last year with non-pow skis and now am pretty sure it's worth the investment, after renting dedicated pow sticks...but thanks for advice

I'm not sure of the exact sizes of the opus but something in the size you're currently using would be fine unless you ski a lot of big mountain, in that case I would go alittle bigger... Mount 2 cm back from true center

I ride the opus everyday im on the mountain. I promise you it is a good investment . The bacons are great skis also, obviously you want a powder ski and the opus is obviously a better powder ski, there isnt much if a reason to go narrower unless you want an all mountain ski which the opus almost is already. Im 5 foot eleven inches, 145 pounds, and ski the 85s, which was the perfect size for me, if anything a little to short because they ski much shorter and they are not slow at all. I think you will be happy with the size 185.
